The Simmental Fleckveh Sale at Feicorte was crowded and well organized, and hit high prices from enthusiastic buyers. Organized by Luis & Rosalu Queiroz of Jacaurate Simmental, Fabio Zurita of Agro Zurita & the Sao Paulo Group Breeders saw top prices hit $100,000 as Agro Zurita sets the price standards with a heifer calf, with the Premium Sale average ends up around the $24,000 mark, to again indicate the strength of this breed in Brazil.
The Simmental Breeders of Brazil should be congratulated for assembling perhaps the strongest set of Fullblood Fleckvieh Simmental in the world at a Show & Sale. Almost 400 head of the right kind of cattle backed the very best Sire line & Maternal genetics in the world were assembled and judged over a three day period, with the Sale occurring on Day 2 in the evening. Breeders from Costa Rica, Panama, Canada, Uruguay, Columbia & Brazil assembled for the Sale. Congratulations to Luis & Rosalu, Fabio & Pinheiro & Grego for a well done event.
