Production Technologies - Food Safety & Source Verification

BV Source Verification -- Bela Vista one of the first ranches in the world to put in place the "BV Source Verification" program for all its calves. Since 2001, BV has recorded every action for every calf for perfect Source Verification of its health & production efficiencies.

Food Safety - Bela Vista has developed production technologies that have led to production safe, healthy beef, free of implants, hormones, and false protein sources.

Only natural foods grown on the farm are used to feed the cattle. Salt and minerals are purchased from Purina Foods, and mixed right on the farm.

Healthy Production Methods - Semi-Feedlots are the fat steers a few months away from slaughter, are put in 100 acres lots and fed 50% corn & 50% soja - all produced on the farm.

At BV, healthy beef for the consuming public takes first priority. Our sense of community safety is part of our culture. BV means healthy foods.
